To renew an ECE Five Year (and ITE/SNE) certificate, the ECE Registry requires a minimum of 40 hours of professional development relevant to early childhood education, completed within your certificate term. Our sessions are designed to be relevant to ECE practice and our certificates include all the details the Registry asks you to report — session name, host organization and contact, facilitator, dates and hours. You are responsible for confirming applicability to your own renewal; contact the ECE Registry with questions about your specific situation.

You're welcome in every session, and the learning applies directly to your daily practice. However, ECEA certificate renewal has different requirements from the Five Year certificate — typically a qualifying course rather than general PD hours — so check the Registry's current ECEA renewal rules before relying on any workshop (ours or anyone's) for your renewal.

Immediately. As soon as you finish all chapters and pass the short quiz, your certificate is generated automatically, emailed to you, and stored in your account where you can re-download it anytime.

In your renewal application you list each workshop/course with its name, the host organization and contact information, the facilitator's name, and the dates and hours. Copy these straight off your ECE PD certificates — they contain every field. You don't submit the certificates themselves, but keep them in case the Registry requests proof.

Your purchase doesn't expire — return to review the material whenever you like, and your certificates remain in your account permanently.

Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, all processed securely in Canadian dollars. Centres booking for teams can request an invoice payable by e-transfer or EFT.

If you haven't completed a session (no certificate issued), contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Completed sessions with issued certificates are non-refundable. Live-session refunds are available up to 48 hours before the start time. See the full Refund Policy.
